Job Overview
As an HR Director, you will provide expert guidance and support to the HR team, driving the continuous improvement of the HR function through the development and implementation of HR programs. You will work closely with management teams to provide expertise, support, and advice, ensuring that HR delivery adds value to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with HR specialist functions and Centers of Excellence
- Lead implementation of projects and process improvement activities related to employment legislation, HR systems, practices, and compliance
- Provide HR Partnering management coaching and counseling
- Act as Business Partner to assigned business areas, ensuring that HR delivery adds value to the business
- Provide input and assist in or lead efforts associated with change management efforts involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, and transfers to ensure compliance to local legislation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, with specialty in HR, legal compliance, or related field
- 5 years of experience coordinating a team within the HR function in a complex organization, with several years of leadership experience
- 10 years + of experience within an HR function as generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience, including experience operating with senior/executive management teams
- Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
- Excellent leadership skills within a team environment, excellent problem-solving skills with sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent presentation skills, up-to-date knowledge of human resources practices, employee regulations, labor laws, and HR Systems
- Excellent Analytics skills, expert coaching and counseling skills, good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
- Organization and project management skills, effective influencing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and very good interpersonal skills
- Language skills: proficient in Spanish & English
- Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality, good attention to detail, good ability to work in a matrix environment, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
