About the Role

H&MV Engineering, a leading global provider of specialist design, engineering, and construction services, is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to our organization's growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health, safety, and environmental advice to management and colleagues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promoting EH&S Awareness: Develop and implement strategies to promote awareness of EH&S requirements throughout the organization.
  2. EH&S System Review: Review the EH&S system with senior management as required, ensuring it remains effective and compliant.
  3. Document Control: Establish and maintain a document control system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  4. Audit Management: Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation of corrective actions.
  5. Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Analyze EH&S performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Training and Development: Provide EH&S induction training to employees and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Degree or diploma in health and safety, or equivalent experience.
  2. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in EH&S management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  4. Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
