Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our TP400-D6 turboprop engines. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinating and providing technical insight to root cause investigations
  • Analysing data from in-service operations to assess engine behaviour and emerging trends
  • Building relationships with airframers and customers to communicate technical subjects
  • Managing the provision of data/hardware to support Life Management Plan activity
  • Coordinating and inputting technical requirements for engine repair
  • Liaising with the Service Support team and supporting the Customer operations stream
  • Compiling responses to Technical Variances, coordinating with EPI Partner Companies
  • Validating technical documentation providing service perspective and processes
  • Preparing presentations to summarise in-service events and ensuring clear reporting
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Fleet Manager and Data Manager in discharging their duties
  • Supporting the 24/7 Front Office Service and Team
  • Supporting EPI functions in discharging their duties, ensuring service engineering issues are tabled for consideration
  • Supporting other EPI functions in delivering their contractual requirements
  • Ensuring compliance to the EPI Quality Management System
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree qualified in Aerospace or an engineering-related discipline
  • Knowledge of gas turbine operations and architecture
  • Experience of working in an in-service environment in a technical support role on safety-critical systems in a high-pressure, complex environment
