Job DescriptionScopeThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service engineering tasks as directed by the service engineering management team. This includes coordinating and providing technical insight to root cause investigations, analysing data from in-service operations, and meeting with airframers and customers to build relationships and communicate technical subjects.
Accountabilities- Coordinate and provide technical insight to root cause investigations from ML1, 2, and 3.
- Analyse data from in-service operations to assess engine behaviour and emerging trends.
- Meet with airframers and customers to build relationships and communicate technical subjects.
- Manage the provision of data/hardware to support Life Management Plan activity.
- Coordinate and input technical requirements for engine repair.
- Liaise with the Service Support team and support the Customer operations stream.
- Compile responses to Technical Variances, coordinating with EPI Partner Companies.
- Validate technical documentation providing service perspective and processes.
- Prepare presentations to summarise in-service events and ensure clear reporting of in-service events.
- Support the Fleet Manager in developing maintenance improvements and assisting with the investigation in reducing any operational burden.
- Provide on-call services to cover 24/7 Front Office Support for AOG.
- Support the Fleet Manager and Data Manager in discharging their duties.
- Support the 24/7 Front Office Service and Team.
- Support EPI functions in discharging their duties, ensuring any service engineering issues are tabled for consideration.
- Support other EPI functions in delivering their contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance to the EPI Quality Management System.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree in Aerospace or a related discipline, with knowledge of gas turbine operations and architecture. Experience in an in-service environment in a technical support role on safety-critical systems in a high-pressure, complex environment is essential.
