Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining all standards of guest service and ensuring a 5-star experience for our customers.
  • Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the General Manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability.
  • Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations.
  • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support.
  • Manage compliance with company or brand-established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as a department manager.
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the hospitality industry required.
  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree with preference given to those with a hospitality management degree.
Compensation:

$60,000+ yearly
