Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement People Strategies: You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement people strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Lead a High-Performing Team: You will lead a team of 5-10 members, responsible for various people functions, and help them grow and develop through your leadership.
- Drive Business Results: You will be responsible for driving business results through your people initiatives, including talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to ensure our people strategy is aligned with our business objectives.
- Ensure Compliance: You will ensure that our people practices are compliant with local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- People Leadership Experience: You have been a successful people leader (Head+ level) in a startup/scaleup, ideally for the stage Hive Logistics is going into now (Series B/C), showcasing strong results, thoughtfulness, drive, and knowledge on best practices.
- Team Leadership Experience: You were responsible for a team and helped them grow, develop, and thrive through your leadership.
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Your analytical and strategic thinking skills enable you to identify and execute on people initiatives by making data-driven decisions that align with the company's objectives.
- Problem-Solving Skills & Attention to Detail: You have a proactive and solution-oriented approach, able to anticipate challenges and address them effectively to keep projects on track and always think one step ahead to be on top of the details.
- Language Proficiency & Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English are required, and additional fluency in German, French, Italian, Spanish, or other European languages is advantageous due to the multinational scope of the role.
- You are based in or willing to relocate to Berlin: We believe that in-person collaboration & communication makes people leaders more successful; therefore, this is a hard requirement for this position.
