About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our Integration & Energy division in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining KONGSBERG's Energy products and systems aboard ships and in shipyards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades of Energy products ensuring quality standards
  • Provide technical support to customers in the field
  • Diagnose technical problems and provide effective solutions to customers
  • Produce technical site reports
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external international stakeholders, ensuring the success of our operations and satisfaction of our customers
Requirements
  • Vocational education or degree in electrical power systems
  • Practical experience in Low Voltage (up to 1KV AC and 1,5KV DC)
  • Medium or High Voltage experience would be beneficial
  • Good understanding of marine systems
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish
  • Availability to travel around 160 non-consecutive days
