About the Role

Kongsberg Gruppen is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our Integration & Energy team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our Energy products and systems aboard ships and in shipyards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades of Energy products to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to customers in the field, diagnosing technical problems and providing effective solutions.
  • Produce technical site reports and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of our operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Vocational education or degree in electrical power systems.
  • Practical experience in Low Voltage (up to 1KV AC and 1,5KV DC) and Medium or High Voltage experience is beneficial.
  • Good understanding of marine systems.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish.
  • Availability to travel around 160 non-consecutive days.
