About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team at Darkroom Agency LLC. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for our clients across various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Editing UGC-style videos in various content formats
  • Developing and executing thumb-stopping social media video edits, layering audio seamlessly and overlaying text that drives key brand messaging
  • Brainstorming inventive edits and hooks that drive engagement, leveraging new formats
  • Staying current on all social media platforms, ad offerings, content publishers, tools, trends, and best practices
  • Collaborating with the performance marketing team to review ad analytics and performance
  • Providing accessible content with closed captioning, voiceover, and overlay text in various aspect ratios
  • Setting up projects for edit staff, ingesting and logging footage, and working in tandem with edit staff to meet deadlines
  • Editing lower-level projects, maintaining media storage, mastering deliverables, and archiving projects
  • Assisting senior staff with edit and administrative needs, versioning various aspect ratios of completed edits, and maintaining software and assets
  • Coordinating and troubleshooting edit equipment, reporting to the Post-Production Supervisor and Producers
