About the Role

We seek an Email Marketing Lead to maximize the effectiveness of our email programs. As a strategic thinker with technical expertise, you will drive impactful engagement with customers, support cross-functional teams, and grow Make's capabilities in email marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of email activities, partnering with teams to ensure maximum effectiveness in responding to user needs and driving business results.">
  • Develop, implement, and manage processes for timely delivery of communications and campaigns to Make customers.">
  • Advocate for technology solutions that align with Make's scale and ambitions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.">
  • Partner with teams to source and share data driving customer acquisition and retention activities.">
  • Manage customer segmentation and targeting to ensure personalized and relevant campaigns.">
  • Ensure appropriate reporting and analysis for email performance, guiding the business on evaluation metrics.">
  • Use data to identify opportunities for improvement in customer communication and engagement.">
  • Develop email best practices and train internal stakeholders on system usage and best practices.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, demonstrating knowledge of technical, content, and performance aspects.">
  • A strong experimental and analytical mindset, leveraging data to drive decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.">
  • A proven track record in managing and growing motivated teams.">
  • Proficiency in English, creating compelling messaging and content.">
  • Familiarity with email design and coding concepts such as HTML, CSS, Canva, and Figma.">
  • A passion for customer-centric marketing and delivering exceptional customer experiences.">
  • A track record leading people, either in project teams or as a line manager.">
  • Experience working within digital workflows, partnering with content writers, designers, and technical teams.">
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).">
