Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and performance of our product infrastructure, ensuring it remains operational and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: You will oversee the maintenance of our product infrastructure, ensuring it remains operational and resilient.
- Alert Management: You will manage alerts and address them within the confines of our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Server Administration: You will install, configure, and manage servers, maintaining their health and performance.
- Security Enforcement: You will proactively apply patches and safeguard our infrastructure against vulnerabilities.
- Efficiency Optimization: You will fine-tune our IT landscape, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Requirements
- Linux and Windows Mastery: You will have expertise in both Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows Server (2019 and beyond).
- Automation Excellence: You will be proficient in tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Advanced Networking: You will have experience in configuring and optimizing network infrastructure, including switching, routing, firewall rules, and network services.
- Scripting Creator: You will create elegant solutions to intricate problems using scripting languages.
- Network Service Management: You will manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPN, SNMP, Postfix, Apache, HAProxy.
- Orchestration and Containers: You will have experience in orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
- Virtualization Expertise: You will have knowledge of virtualization platforms like Proxmox, VMware.
- Hyperconvergence Knowledge: You will have experience with hyperconvergence solutions like Nutanix, vSAN, VxRail, Ceph, GlusterFS.
- Experience and Tenacity: You will have over 5 years of experience in Level 2 and Level 3 support resolution.
- Frameworks and Standards: You will adhere to industry best practices, including ITIL and ISO 27K, 20K.
- Collaborative Mindset: You will thrive in cross-functional teams and contribute your expertise while fostering a positive work environment.
- Analytical Fortitude: You will dissect complexities methodically, arriving at effective solutions.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in French would be a significant plus.
