Software Development Engineer II, Books

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in building and delivering innovative software products and features that enable our customers to discover, invent, simplify, and build.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Software Solutions: You will design and develop scalable, distributed systems and performant front-end clients using modern full-stack technologies, programming languages, and systems.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work with other teams to collaborate and disambiguate tasks, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Architect and Implement Software Systems: You will design and architect new and existing systems, applying appropriate technologies and best practices to ensure stability and performance.
- Contribute to Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: You will actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, team planning, and ticket/metric/COE reviews to ensure high-quality software.
- Train and Mentor Team Members: You will train new team members on software construction, operation, security, and integration with the bigger picture.
- Recruit and Interview Candidates: You will help recruit and interview candidates for your team, ensuring the best fit for our team's needs.

Requirements- Professional Software Development Experience: You must have experience programming with at least one software programming language and experience in professional software development.
- Design and Architecture Experience: You must have experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, applying design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles.
- Full Software Development Life Cycle Experience: You must have experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
