Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for our Books platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in professional software development, with a strong background in Java, TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience designing or architecting software systems, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
