Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert, Pastry to join our team at Csc Generation. As a Pastry Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cooking classes and workshops, while also providing coaching and training to our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Classroom Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging cooking classes and workshops, utilizing your expertise in pastry arts to educate and inspire our customers.
  2. Staff Development: Provide coaching and training to our kitchen staff, focusing on techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
  3. Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, and provide expert advice to customers.
  4. Sanitation and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen areas are maintained to the highest standards of sanitation and safety.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Resident Chef and other team members to achieve sales goals and drive business results.
Requirements
  1. Culinary Experience: 1-2 years of experience in kitchen operations, with a focus on pastry arts.
  2. Culinary Education: Culinary degree in Pastry or equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
  3. Teaching Experience: Demonstrated successful teaching and training experience, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Certifications: Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification.
  5. Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and management.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, steam, and other kitchen hazards. The successful candidate must be able to lift and move merchandise and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
