Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert, Pastry to join our team at Csc Generation. As a Pastry Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cooking classes and workshops, while also contributing to the success of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and direct employees to ensure exceptional customer service standards are met.
  • Deliver engaging and informative cooking classes, using provided recipes and game plans.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the cooking experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the Resident Chef to achieve store sales plans and individual sales goals.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to Kitchen Assistants and communicate performance issues to the Resident Chef.
  • Seek opportunities to increase cooking class and retail sales.
  • Record time worked accurately and in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
  • Culinary degree in Pastry or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated successful teaching and training experience.
  • Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift and/or move merchandise and/or kitchen equipment weighing up to 35 lbs.
