Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seasonal Pastry Instructor to join our team at Sur La Table. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cooking classes and workshops to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop and deliver engaging cooking classes and workshops that showcase your expertise in pastry arts
  
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to students, ensuring they gain practical skills and knowledge
  
• Collaborate with our Resident Chef to develop and implement new class content and menus
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety
  
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• 1-2 years of experience in kitchen operations, with a focus on pastry arts
  
• Culinary degree in Pastry or equivalent experience
  
• Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
