Job DescriptionThe Direct Touch Regional Sales Manager MSD role is an influential position that focuses on opening key opportunities for our largest mainframe customers by building strong relationships and understanding their business and IT challenges.
You will be responsible for providing subject-matter expertise, thought leadership, and solution/technical specialization to position Broadcom competitively in the market.
- Assist sales teams in technically qualifying solutions and their benefits to customers and/or partners
- Work closely with account teams to understand customer needs and architect solutions that meet them
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of Broadcom's mainframe products and provide technical specifications and requirements documentation
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- Typically 5 or more years of detailed technical industry-related experience, particularly with mainframes
- Proven experience in customer-focused roles with a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges
