Job Description
We are seeking a System and Network Engineer to participate in the design, development, integration, and support of advanced telecommunication solutions in the voice, roaming, messaging, signalling and IoT domains. As a Junior System and Network Engineer, you will contribute to activities across the entire project life cycle of in-house developed solutions, from testing to the launch into production, and support and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Test and validate new developments.
- Deploy in production and other validation environments.
- Automate operations tasks (installation, monitoring, etc.)
- Respond to emergencies and take part in a L3 guard duty service.
- Debug software issues in lab environments
- Monitor service availability and performance.
- Take proactive and reactive maintenance actions.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field.
- Technical knowledge of telecommunication protocols; voice and mobile core networks (VoIP, SIP, SS7, LTE, GTP, etc.).
- Knowledge in programming language (Java, C) and scripting.
- Hands-on experience in linux OS environments.
- Familiar with computer networks and protocols
- Analytical thinking, ability to solve problems, strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
