About the Role
AECOM Spain Building Services Engineering team is a highly qualified group of professionals experts in offering the best solutions to international client's needs all around the world. Our team is looking for a Smart Building Systems Engineer to further develop his/her experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors, including among others: Data Centers, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial, and Defense.

Key Responsibilities
As a Smart Building Systems Engineer, you will design and delivery different building facilities projects within Telecom Infrastructure discipline: Public Address/Voice Alarm, Building Management System, Video Surveillance System, Access Control System, Intrusion Detection System, among others. Your main activities will include:

  • Produce detailed design information, including calculations, schematic drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Attend design team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to provide the spatial requirements for telecom systems.
  • Coordinate the design with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to provide the connectivity and functionality requirements of the systems.
  • Propose approach to solve new problems encountered.
  • Identify discrepancies in results.
