Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Planning Manager to lead the strategic and day-to-day management of our marketing investments across multiple channels, countries, and brands. This role will report to the Associate Director of Marketing Planning and be responsible for strategic budgeting and planning efforts, including acquisition, retention, and brand efforts across various channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting and strategic planning process within the marketing department, partnering with leadership and stakeholders to best calibrate efforts for our stated business goals and targets.
  • Lead performance read-outs and support building leadership presentations around performance.
  • Day-to-day performance management reporting, including maintaining and improving current Excel models, and proposing new ones.
  • Build ad-hoc analysis and actionable insights on performance trends and gainers/drainers of performance.
  • Proactively identify optimization opportunities across the full funnel to optimize the efficiency of the program.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on how to leverage spend across a complex landscape of various channels, campaigns, bidding strategies, and brands to support the P&L objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of major performance marketing channels, analytics, and finance.
  • Experience with accurately establishing forecasts and influencing decision-makers based on trends.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills and competence with business intelligence and analytics tools, including various marketing and advertising platforms, web analytics tools, forecasting tools, and reporting and dashboarding tools.
  • Advanced data skills (e.g., SQL, Python) preferred.
  • Experience working in a return on ad spend (ROAS) and LTV framework, including various attribution models and media mix modeling.
