Your Impact

Joining OpenText's Southern EMEA Legal team means being part of a group of friendly and supportive people where respect and exchanges of thoughts are valued. You will become a key collaborator, playing a decisive role in executing missions entrusted to team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including cloud, license, and professional service contracts across various software offerings.
  • Providing dedicated legal support to sales teams in Southern Europe, helping them close deals in a quarter-driven environment.
  • Thinking on your feet to work with the business to solve issues as they arise.
  • Working as part of the global legal team on initiatives to improve legal provision across OT.
  • Building positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business to enable you to obtain up-to-date information and provide excellent solutions to negotiation issues.
  • Handling general corporate matters, resolving commercial disputes, and dealing with data protection considerations.
Requirements

We are looking for a full-time lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience. You should be commercially minded, keen to learn about the business, and embed yourself as a key part of it. You should be enthusiastic, hard-working, and enjoy working in a team environment. You should be able to manage your caseload and be confident and assertive but flexible and professional. Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required, along with a clear communication style.
