Senior Legal & Compliance Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Legal & Compliance Advisor to undertake responsibilities within the Legal & Compliance sector as part of our Corporate Governance team at Admiral Insurance Plc. The primary duties of this position include:

  • Offering guidance, assistance, and training to various business units regarding relevant regulations.
  • Understanding and implementing Admiral policies and procedures in the designated area.
  • Evaluating documents (in both English and Spanish) and contracts to ensure adherence to legal standards, Admiral policies, and operational requirements.
  • Assisting in the resolution of legal inquiries.
  • Documenting and tracking regulatory communications.
  • Keeping abreast of regulations pertinent to Admiral and collaborating with business units on compliance matters.
  • Engaging in compliance assessments as outlined in the annual plan.
Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Degree in Law
  • 4-5 years of experience in a comparable role within the Compliance/Legal department of an insurance organization
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in the GSuite environment (Google Drive, Sheets, Presentations, and Docs)
  • Relevant certifications in compliance and insurance-related courses will be advantageous.
