Senior Legal Counsel

At OpenText, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our Southern EMEA Legal team based in Paris. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in executing missions and providing dedicated legal support to sales teams across Southern Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including cloud, license, and professional service contracts.
  • Providing expert legal advice to sales teams in France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
  • Collaborating with the global legal team to improve legal provision across OpenText.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to obtain up-to-date information and provide excellent solutions.
  • Handling general corporate matters, resolving commercial disputes, and dealing with data protection considerations.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of post-qualified experience in a legal role.
  • Commercial acumen and a keen interest in learning about the business.
  • Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
