We are currently seeking a highly skilled Hotel Event Operations Supervisor to join our team at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class hospitality company that prides itself on delivering exceptional experiences for its guests.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in hotel event operations or a similar role. A professional or technician degree is preferred, and proficiency in Spanish and English is a must. We offer a competitive salary, ranging from €30,000 to €45,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, excellent training opportunities, complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons properties, dry cleaning services for employee uniforms, and meals for employees.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for someone who can effectively plan and execute events, ensuring all logistical details are organized and delivered to the highest standards.
  • The successful candidate will be able to coordinate with internal departments, such as Banquets, Culinary, and Housekeeping, to ensure seamless event operations.
  • This role involves supervising event setup, service, and breakdown, maintaining compliance with hotel quality standards and client expectations.
  • The Hotel Event Operations Supervisor will serve as the main point of contact for event clients during the event, addressing their needs and resolving issues in real-time.
  • Additionally, this person will oversee event staff, providing clear direction and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
  • The ideal candidate will also assist in managing event budgets, maintaining accurate records of costs, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • We require someone who can ensure all event areas are properly maintained, clean, and set up according to client specifications.
  • Responsibilities include supporting in creating detailed event schedules and ensuring timely execution of all planned activities.
  • The Hotel Event Operations Supervisor will ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements during events.
  • Finally, this person will assist in post-event feedback collection and reporting to improve event operations and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized documentation.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Professional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Focused on providing exceptional service to clients and guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in overseeing event setups, schedules, and staff coordination to meet guest expectations.
  • Experience in Hospitality or Events: Previous experience in hotel event operations or similar roles is preferred to understand service standards and expectations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle unexpected challenges during events and find effective solutions under pressure.
  • Time Management Skills: Proficient in managing schedules to ensure timely execution of all event activities.
  • Team Leadership: Strong ability to motivate and guide event staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Proficiency in Event Software: Familiarity with hotel event management systems and tools is an advantage.
