**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Buscojobs España. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. **Financial Analysis**: Conduct thorough analysis of financial information to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  2. **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports.
  3. **Account Reconciliations**: Perform reconciliations between accounting and auxiliary modules, including customers, suppliers, and intercompany balances. Identify and investigate discrepancies.
  4. **General Accounting**: Prepare and review general accounting entries, including expenses, income provisions, sales adjustments, and tax regularizations.
  5. **Reporting and Analysis**: Prepare specific reports based on financial data for presentation to management. Analyze variations and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to optimize management and simplify procedures.
  7. **Audit and Compliance**: Ensure compliance with statutory auditing requirements and knowledge of SOX controls.

Requirements:

  1. **Experience**: Minimum 4 years of experience in international financial accounting or audit departments.
  2. **Skills**: Advanced Excel skills, experience with databases, and ability to work with deadlines.
  3. **Language**: Fluent in English and one of the following languages: German, Dutch, or French.
