Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary, for senior management.
    • Present results in a monthly forum, highlighting unusual trends and answering questions as needed.
    • Develop and enhance financial reporting frameworks to improve data quality and timeliness.
  2. Accounting and Audit:
    • Manage subsidiary audits, coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely completion.
    • Participate in accounting functions, performing calculations and bookings as part of month-end close.
  3. Automation and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets.
    • Contribute to automation projects, converting manual tasks to system-based processes.

Requirements:

  • Finance professional with at least 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a Big 4 background.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with Spanish a plus.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
