Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Country Finance Director to lead our finance team in Peru. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving value creation, ensuring the delivery of all finance activities, and maintaining strong relationships with local auditors, authorities, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of all finance activities, including accounting, accounts receivable, payable, treasury & banking, taxes, payroll, and group reporting.
- Review and follow up on audit reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain fully reconciled statutory and group reporting positions.
- Design and implement risk management and internal controls to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
- Maintain and strengthen key internal and external relationships, including local auditors, authorities, and senior management.
- Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, ensuring close alignment of Finance Transformation with business needs.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to the Country President, Divisional controller, and Business leaders.
Requirements
- Finance or business-related degree or other equivalent level academic qualification.
- MBA or postgraduate in Finance or a related field.
- Formal accountancy qualification, such as Certified Chartered Accountant (desirable) or CPA (preferred).
- Ideal background from a 'Big 4' audit company (3 to 5 years) prior to moving into industry.
- Fluent English language skills, as the interview process will be conducted in this language.
