About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Test Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our test and quality assurance processes for our complex IIoT platform.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test strategies, requirements analysis, and automation of tests for our backend and web applications.
  • Maintain and provision our test system to ensure the continuous quality of our solutions.
  • Work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with our agile team to identify and prioritize testing tasks.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. You should have experience in software testing, especially automation of tests in modern backend and web applications, ideally in the IIoT environment.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java, script languages, and automation tools.
  • Experience with testing technologies such as REST Assured, playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, and others.
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Open Source, Build/CI/CD, Docker, Linux, and data storage technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies.
