Data Architect Principal Specialist

The Data Architect will play a pivotal role in operationalizing critical data and analytics initiatives for Amadeus business's strategic data needs.

This role will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing the company's data architecture as per the DAMA framework guidelines.

Service Delivery:

  • Conduct data architecture assessments and develop high-level integrated designs to meet strategic data requirements, aligning with company strategy and associated architecture of business applications.
  • Design and implement effective data cartographies, dictionaries and models to document company data in coordination with the Amadeus Data Office.
  • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure data quality and the effective use of information, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Service Strategy and Evolution:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture standards, guidelines and policies aligned with the DAMA framework.
  • Assess innovation with a continuous improvement mindset, reviewing and updating regularly the data architecture processes to adapt them to changing needs and technologies.

Team Engagement:

  • Provide expertise and guidance on data architecture strategy, methodologies and best practices.
  • Coach and train team members on data architecture principles and the DAMA framework.
