Job Title: Data Architect Principal Specialist

Job Description Summary: Amadeus is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to play a pivotal role in operationalizing critical data and analytics initiatives for the company's strategic data needs.

This role will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing the company's data architecture as per the DAMA framework guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data architecture assessments and develop high-level integrated designs to meet strategic data requirements, aligning with company strategy and associated architecture of business applications.
  • Design and implement effective data cartographies, dictionaries, and models to document company data in coordination with the Amadeus Data Office.
  • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure data quality and the effective use of information, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Participate in enterprise architecture assessments related to solutions aimed at improving new and existing database systems.
  • Collaborate with transformation data-related projects to ensure compliance with data architecture standards and organizational goals.
  • Promote the data architecture framework across the organization, working on the adoption of policies and best practices by the different units and stakeholders involved.
Service Strategy and Evolution:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture standards, guidelines, and policies aligned with the DAMA framework.
  • Assess innovation with a continuous improvement mindset, regularly reviewing and updating the data architecture processes to adapt them to changing needs and technologies.
Team Engagement:
  • Provide expertise and guidance on data architecture strategy, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Coach and train team members on data architecture principles and the DAMA framework.
