Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will work closely with the construction manager to ensure the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss project progress and operations.
  • Draft instructions, training materials, and guidelines on best practices for construction teams.
  • Audit contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Conduct quality spot checks and report to the head of construction on key performance indicators.
  • Assist the construction coordination team in developing construction execution plans, site mobilization plans, and bid packages.
  • Conduct constructability reviews to optimize construction workflows.
  • Manage resource planning and allocation for the department.
  • Visit client sites to ensure project deliverables are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in managing and organizing mechanical construction sites, materials, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a structured environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is an asset.
