About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Disputes Manager to join our team at Kroll. As a key member of our Construction Disputes Expert Services department, you will play a critical role in providing expert analysis and support to our clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and lead project analysis and draft detailed expert reports based on the analysis findings.
  • Review and analyze documents related to construction projects in various industries, including infrastructure, oil and gas, energy, and renewables.
  • Draft notes, presentations, and external communications to support project scope and individual work streams.
  • Assist in managing project workload and tasks, and organize documentation filing processes.
  • Draft project and fee proposals for new projects and manage budgets and fee reports.
  • Present and participate in client meetings, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Provide advisory services to clients seeking to enhance their commercial performance and corporate governance, including project controls and risk management.
  • Attend marketing events, seminars, and lectures to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Requirements
  • Degree-level education in a construction or industrial-related field, with relevant MSc in engineering and/or Construction law/quantity surveying an advantage.
  • 7-10+ years of construction/industrial experience, with international experience, planning experience, and contract management experience highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of common construction contract schemes, such as NEC and FIDIC, and experience with detailed Quantum or Delay forensic analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional report writing skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, and professional, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with both written and spoken proficiency.
