Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Design Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a Senior CAD Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our client's digital design methodology, with a focus on supporting and evaluating EDA tools, establishing, and maintaining design flows, and implementing various scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Flow Development: Develop design flows to facilitate SoC designs across diverse semiconductor technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  2. EDA Tool Assessment and Optimization: Assess and optimize digital design tools for both existing and novel design flows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  3. Scripting and Utility Development: Create, enhance, and manage scripts and utilities to streamline design processes, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
  4. EDA Tool Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for EDA tools, actively troubleshooting any issues and ensuring smooth operation.
  5. Design Project Collaboration: Collaborate on design projects, offering support and contributing to their success, and providing expert guidance on digital design flow.
  6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Produce comprehensive documentation outlining design methodologies and tool utilization, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive Experience: Extensive experience in digital design flow and proficiency with EDA tools, spanning from RTL to GDS, with a strong foundation in semiconductor technologies.
  2. Design Methodologies: Familiarity with design methodologies for mixed-signal and SoC projects, including experience with design flows and tool utilization.
  3. Scripting and Software Development: Hands-on expertise in constructing design flows and delivering effective design support, with proficiency in scripting languages and software development tools.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science (BSEE/BSCS), or master's degree (MSEE/MSCS) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in digital design flow and EDA tools.
