We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Stolt Sea Farm, a leading company in the aquaculture industry. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of technical facilities necessary for the execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design civil work, including earthworks, foundations, concrete, metallic, and plastic structures, in compliance with project goals, cost, scope, and quality specifications.
- Project Management: Source and negotiate with external suppliers, select, and purchase equipment, with administrative support from other team members.
- Improvement and Innovation: Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to resolve them.
- Site Monitoring: Coordinate on-site monitoring for all tests or trials related to installations.
- Reporting: Coordinate follow-up and conclusion reports for trials and tests.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A University degree in Civil Works, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, specializing in mechanics.
- Three to five years of experience in civil design, with a strong calculation and design component.
- Experience in project management and in-field experience.
- Advanced level of English (C1 or more).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Presto, and design tools with BIM MEP methodology (Autodesk Revit MEP, CypeCAD MEP).
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
This role requires around 15-30% travel to other facilities in the Stolt Sea Farm group outside the central offices in Santiago de Compostela, as well as meetings with partners and suppliers.
