**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Santiago de Compostela. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical facilities for our projects, ensuring compliance with schedule, cost, scope, and quality specifications.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design civil work, including earthworks, foundations, concrete, metallic, and plastic structures, in accordance with project goals and specifications.
- Sourcing and negotiating with external suppliers, selecting, and purchasing equipment, with administrative support from other team members.
- Identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative solutions.
- Coordinating on-site monitoring for tests and trials related to installations.
- Preparing follow-up and conclusion reports for trials and tests.
**Requirements**
- 3-5 years of experience in civil design, with a strong calculation and design component.
- Experience in project management and in-field experience.
- University degree in Civil Works, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, specializing in mechanics.
- Advanced level of English (C1 or more).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Presto, and design tools with BIM MEP methodology (Autodesk Revit MEP, CypeCAD MEP).
- Excel proficiency expert user.
**Working Conditions**
This position requires around 15-30% of the time traveling to other facilities in the Stolt-Nielsen group outside the central offices of Santiago de Compostela, and also to have meetings with partners and suppliers.
