About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EUC Service Delivery Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering our End User Computing services, technologies, and processes, which are critical to the productivity of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all End User Windows & Mac images and devices, mobile device / application management, and other EUC technologies.
  • Ensure effective delivery and operational support for PC imaging, packaging, software distribution, patching, and overall PC lifecycle management.
  • Work directly with our providers for daily support and ongoing improvement of our Windows and MAC toolset, as well as other tools and solutions.
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement opportunities in end user computing experience.
  • Serve as the escalation point for End User issues and problems.
  • Build strong internal customer relationships to ensure we are aligned to customer and business needs while prioritizing key initiatives.
  • Interface with Senior IT leadership on problem/incident calls and acts as an escalation point.
  • Develops and maintains a solution roadmap, product catalog, and vision for End User Computing technologies and processes.
  • Manage an endpoint software distribution solution that encompasses modern imaging, packaging, and software deployment best practices.
  • Assure that the End-User Computing support team operates effectively to meet defined Service Level Agreements and defined customer expectations.
  • Engage external partners to create and maintain a hardware and client software roadmap that will contribute to a productive workforce.
  • Maintain awareness of changing IT trends and regulations which might impact the company and develop strategies that will mitigate any incoming risks and/or take advantage of any future benefits.
  • Assess upcoming technologies and recommend innovative use of new features and technologies related to desktop management with the objective of enhancing end user experience.
  • Develop and sustain current documentation relating to areas of responsibility.
  • Work within established configuration, change management policies, security policies for ensuring awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Spanish native speaker with good understanding of written and oral English.
  • Living in Barcelona area or willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor degree in the area of Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 5+ Years of experience architecting EUC solutions and processes.
  • 5+ Years of experience with managing Microsoft end user technologies: SSO, Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, End Point Security, Antivirus.
  • Networking knowledge, experience in managing IPSec VPN's, Firewalls, Switches, LAN and WLANs.
  • Experience in monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, or similar).
  • Experience in Managing relational databases MS SQL Server, MySql, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working with automatization tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Experience in scripting and automating tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar, to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare or similar.
  • Experience in managing backup technologies.
  • Experience in End-User Security best practices.
  • Good at creating technical documentation and process definition.
  • Experience managing Spain dispersed offices and venues and external contract resources and outsources services (contract, control, SLAs, priorities).
