About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT License Audit Specialist to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our IT Asset Governance (ITAG) function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital information are properly governed and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders to design and implement controls and monitoring to ensure negotiated contracts align with Schneider Electric's strategic goals.
  • Apply and drive the effective adoption of governance frameworks and strategic application to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide expertise in identifying, progressing, negotiating, and closing commercial settlement deals.
  • Demonstrate effective project management expertise in influencing the closure of gaps with business partners and other functional leaders.
  • Interpret and understand complex software licensing agreements and business practices, and apply them to different scenarios.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of audits and compliance-related experience, preferably in technology or software licensing.
  • 5+ years of professional licensing experience in 2 or more Tier 1 software publishers.
  • 3+ years in providing specialist views on contract development and delivery, terms and conditions, and contract practices.
  • 3+ years in software business industry, with understanding of industry trends and direction.
  • Experience in negotiating with external suppliers, particularly in complex transactions.
  • Proven success in engaging, persuading, and developing relationships with senior leaders within the organization.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation experience is preferred.
  • Experience with executive-level presentations, project management principles, and governance activities.
