Job Title: Beverage Experience Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Beverage Experience Manager to join our team at Accorhotel. As a key member of our hotel's operations, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverage experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement seasonal cocktail menus that align with our hotel's brand identity and target audience.
  • Develop signature drinks for each venue, ensuring a unique and cohesive beverage experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with new ingredients, techniques, and presentations to create memorable drink experiences.
  • Maintain standardized recipes and preparation methods across all bars to ensure consistency.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation.
  • Lead and manage bar staff, including bartenders, bar backs, and servers, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train staff on cocktail preparation, mixology techniques, customer service, and safety and hygiene standards.
  • Mentor and guide bartenders to foster their development within the organization.
  • Interact with guests to gather feedback and create personalized drink experiences.
  • Monitor guest preferences and trends to refine and improve beverage offerings.
  • Develop strategies to enhance ambiance and atmosphere in each venue.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Track and control beverage costs and wastage to optimize profitability.
  • Supervise daily bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of bar areas, equipment, and facilities to ensure proper working order.
  • Promptly address operational challenges such as equipment malfunctions or supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure all venues comply with local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol and promote responsible service practices.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all bars.
  • Promote and train staff on responsible alcohol service protocols.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop beverage-related promotions, events, and activations.
  • Work closely with the F&B Director and other departments to ensure cohesive operation and successful event execution.
  • Assist in setting and achieving sales targets and revenue goals for each venue.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, adjust pricing strategies, and optimize profitability.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics for senior management.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, competitions, and media engagements as an ambassador for Fairmont's beverage program.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with beverage knowledge and all aspects of restaurant service.
  • Strong leadership and training skills with excellent interpersonal abilities and attention to detail.
  • The ability to motivate employees to work effectively and productively as a team.
  • Good coordination and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • A good understanding of food and beverage service principles.
