Board Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our talented UX team. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a key role in leading and influencing the design of our financial and retail solutions, driving innovation through your extensive expertise in user-centered design.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the UX design efforts across multiple high-impact projects, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior and midweight UX designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts, to understand project goals and design requirements.
- Drive the end-to-end design process, from initial research and concept development to final implementation, ensuring high-quality design outcomes.
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and scalability across all Board solutions.
- Conduct and oversee user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, delivering clear and detailed design specifications.
- Leverage and expand our pattern library by working closely with the UI infrastructure team.
- Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and user-centered design processes effectively to stakeholders.
- Apply usability heuristics and stay current with design best practices to evaluate new and existing features, offering valuable suggestions for improvement.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various platforms and industries.
- Proven leadership experience in UX design, with a track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
- Advanced knowledge of User-Centered iterative design processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Deep understanding of usability principles, best practices, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
