Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the UX design process, from initial research and concept development to final implementation, ensuring high-quality design outcomes.
- Mentoring and guiding junior and midweight UX designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts, to understand project goals and design requirements.
- Developing and maintaining design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and scalability across all Board solutions.
- Conducting and overseeing user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Creating and iterating on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, delivering clear and detailed design specifications.
- Leveraging and expanding our pattern library by working closely with the UI infrastructure team.
- Communicating conceptual ideas, design rationale, and user-centered design processes effectively to stakeholders.
- Applying usability heuristics and staying current with design best practices to evaluate new and existing features, offering valuable suggestions for improvement.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various platforms and industries.
- Proven leadership experience in UX design, with a track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
- Advanced knowledge of User-Centered iterative design processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Deep understanding of usability principles, best practices, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
