Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel - Insurance Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Paris, France. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert advice on insurance law and regulatory matters to support the activities of AXA XL France.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support to underwriting departments, middle office, and risk consultants on insurance law matters.
  • Develop and propose solutions that comply with applicable law and meet the needs of AXA XL's clients and partners.
  • Manage various projects and deadlines independently, providing assistance to AXA XL teams on complex legal issues.
  • Review and validate technical contractual documents, including confidentiality agreements, mandates, and co-reinsurance agreements.
  • Support the Senior Legal Counsel for France on regulatory matters related to supervisory requirements imposed by ACPR and other foreign regulators.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of professional experience as a Lawyer, either in-house or in private practice.
  • Master's degree in private Law, preferably insurance law.
  • Specialized in insurance law, including global programs expertise, and related litigations.
  • French mother tongue, proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
