Debt Asset Controller

About the Role:
Clean Energy Infra, a leading asset management company, is seeking an experienced Debt Asset Controller to join its high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing asset portfolios, ensuring effective risk management, and delivering stable, risk-adjusted returns to investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage risk across the portfolio, including financial risk assessments, financial model updates, and sensitivity analysis.
- Oversight of regular reporting from securitisation vehicles and servicers, with performance assessment of the asset and underlying loan portfolios.
- Direction of legal counsel on ad-hoc project matters, including default recovery.
- Coordination of cash management to protect value and generate maximum long-term returns for investors.
- Development and management of asset operating models.
- Management of regular deliverables to internal stakeholders, including asset reporting packs, financial return projections, risk assessments, and other ad-hoc deliverables.
- Coordination of delegated financial and commercial representatives (external servicers, legal counsel, administrators).
- Support fund management activities, including cash flow forecasting, quarterly and annual investor reporting, and investor queries.
- Review and development of governance and risk management framework for portfolio management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in financial services or risk management.
- Experience with asset-backed securities, structured finance, or credit funds.
- Desirable experience in investment/portfolio risk management, project finance documentation, and interaction, as well as financial control experience in fund management or corporate.
- Relevant experience or interest in the power industry or sustainability.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with additional European languages desirable.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK or Spain-EU-27.
