About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to innovate with customers and influence the AWS product roadmap
  • Develop and influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services
  • Drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities
  • Partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue
Requirements
  • Foundational understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture
  • Strong ability to understand complex sales plays and determine how to apply a customer's specific use case
  • Experience with technical business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and program/product management
  • Industry experience with SAP (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics)
