The SAP Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous innovation of Radisson's SAP Cloud environments. This role will work closely with the SAP Operations Manager and the Sr. Director for Network & Infrastructure to focus on continuous improvement of the whole SAP landscape, including non-SAP applications if applicable.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure top-notch performance for all SAP systems in the landscape by proactively identifying areas of improvement.
- Expand current SAP solutions for scale, resiliency, and maintainability by leveraging cloud functionality.
- Architect new SAP Cloud solutions and integrate them with existing on-premise and cloud systems.
- Work on the cutting edge of innovative use cases, in collaboration with the RHG Product management department.
- Set up and configure SAP based on best practices.
- Automate SAP deployment, configuration, and operations.
- Support partners to develop SAP migration frameworks.
- Work closely with engineering teams and program management to execute RHG 5YP strategy planning in accordance with SAP migrations and Cloud improvement matters.
- Ensure the project is delivered as per the terms in the contract: quality, schedule, and cost.
- Proactive Monitor and Control: Ensure system performance is not hindered by incorrect resource assignment or utilization. Identify trends in day-to-day operation and actively work on solving issues before they become problems.
- General: Ensure a high degree of collaboration and good team spirit is achieved across all parties during the project. Must be able to interact at Director, Senior Director, and VP levels.
The SAP Basis Specialist accountability will be smooth operation, continuous innovation, and transformation of Radisson's SAP Cloud environments.
Requirements and Qualifications- Excellent SAP BASIS, SAP Technical Architect, business development, infrastructure, and cloud experience.
- Experience and deep knowledge of SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration.
- Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration or upgrades.
- Highly technical and analytical, possessing 10+ years of IT consulting experience as a technical specialist in an enterprise customer or partner.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and/or SW development skills using modern programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Substantial experience as an architect, designing and implementing large-scale solutions in the Enterprise sector working for or with FTSE 100 (or equivalent) sized companies.
- Expertise in the Big Data, Analytics, and Machine Learning domains using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Teradata, Redshift, etc.
- At least 5 years of international experience.
- Broad knowledge of the entire SAP platform stack.
- Deep experience with SAP HANA.
- Experience with SAP PO, SAP BO.
- Experience with SAP ASE databases.
- Previous experience with Cloud and architecting SAP solutions on Cloud.
- Hospitality experience.
- Up to 30% travel, primarily to Brussels.
- Very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Passion for customer service, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
- Good team player, willingness to assist others and share expertise.
- Highly influential, leadership, communication at least at Director level, efficiency, sociability.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- A recognized project management qualification is preferable.
