Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Execute the programme strategy, roadmap, and governance framework for airport automation, ensuring alignment with IAG's strategic objectives, business requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Benefits Identification: Laser-focused on identifying benefits within projects and measuring impact, ensuring that automation initiatives drive tangible results.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities, technology vendors, and regulators.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead the sharing of insights and best practices amongst airlines within the group, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- CASK Savings: Identify opportunities that enable CASK savings within the Hub and Non-Hub airports, whether automation or process-related.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of project managers, business analysts, technical experts, and change managers, ensuring the successful delivery of airport automation projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with regional commercial and operational teams both within IAG and within the Airlines to ensure benefits are realized from automation or process improvement projects.
- Innovation: Lead the innovation funnel from idea through discovery, trial, pilot, implementation, and scaling, driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
- Programme Monitoring: Monitor and report on the programme progress, performance, quality, and outcomes, ensuring that airport automation initiatives meet IAG's high standards.
- Category Planning: Own, develop, finalize category plan, business plan, financial plan, and automation program, ensuring that airport automation initiatives are aligned with IAG's business objectives.
