Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Executive to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for promoting our brand image and driving revenue growth through effective sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote awareness of our brand image internally and externally
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
  • Recognize opportunities to up-sell and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott Vacation Club experience
  • Encourage guests to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours
  • Verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours
  • Determine and provide premiums to guests as gifts for their patronage
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities/services
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
Critical Tasks
  • Tour generation: dedicated to generating new tours via the Encore programme
  • Policies and Procedures: follow company and department policies and procedures
  • Guest Relations: welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting
  • Communication: speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language
  • Physical tasks: move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
Requirements
  • High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • English, German, Spanish language proficiency
