**Job Summary**
Corbion is seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Engineering & Technology department, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of production process improvements in our fermentation and downstream/purification processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement process optimization projects, including evaluation of process data, operator training, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot potential problems and develop solutions to improve process safety, capacity, and efficiency.
- Present project ideas to stakeholders and obtain approval for implementation.
- Lead the implementation of projects and collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful execution.
**Requirements:**
- 3 years of experience in process/project engineering or manufacturing in a chemical, food, or pharma manufacturing environment.
- Combined education and/or experience in fermentation processes and chemical engineering is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and team building skills, with a hands-on and can-do attitude.
- Experience in installation, erection, or revamping of installations, with a focus on follow-up projects and start-ups.
- Proactive, dynamic, and autonomous behavior, with a good command of English (Minimum B2 level).
- Basic PRL certificate (50 h) and user level of gPROMS modelling tool is a plus.
