Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at Scope Group, focusing on reinforcing controls and processes within our organization. As a Business Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, and reinforcement of processes to enhance first line controls.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process Design and Implementation: Develop and implement robust processes and procedures within the first line of business, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  2. Control Enhancement: Collaborate with the first line of business to identify control weaknesses and design solutions to strengthen controls effectively, monitoring company KPIs and outsourcing agreements KPIs.
  3. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Create comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and control enhancements, maintaining a clear and organized record of changes and updates.
  4. Project Management: Exhibit strong project management skills to drive initiatives related to control enhancement and process optimization, including:
    1. Analyst Rotation Coordination: Oversee the coordination of analyst rotation within the first line of business, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities.
    2. Regulatory Disclosure and Reporting: Take the lead in revising all regulatory disclosure and reporting procedures to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all first line activities align with regulatory standards, and monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  1. Exceptional project and process management abilities, including a track record of successful completion of projects.
  2. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering results.

  4. Excellent understanding of the three lines of defense framework.

  12. Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills; Strong knowledge of dynamic project and workflow tools, e.g., JIRA, Asana, ARIS.
  13. Certification in project or process management is considered a plus, e.g., IPMA, Prince 2, SCRUM.
