Market Development Engineer for IP&E Technologies

Arrow IP&E is a leading provider of electronic components and value-added services. We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team.

As a Market Development Engineer, you will be responsible for determining, developing, and scaling successful solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Specializing in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategy plans for assigned market/business segments.
  • Conducting business strategy activities, including total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  • Collaborating with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
  • Working with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  • Creating, gaining approvals for, and executing comprehensive products and service offers.
  • Contributing to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
  • Evaluating, recommending, and managing supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
  • Contributing to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leading market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  • Building and managing influential relationships with key suppliers.
  • Making joint calls with ARROW and supplier's Sales personnel where it is strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis.
  • Being involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identifying market/customer penetration strategies with the appropriate products.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing or Product management.
  • Experience in IP&E.
  • Experience in engineering and business strategy market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis).
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
  • English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
  • Spanish language skills (native or C1).
  • Expertise in engaging to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry.
  • Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  • Demonstration of project/team leadership, and collaboration skills.
