Culinary Operations Manager Job Description

At Csc Generation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for driving business results and leading our culinary employees to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence: Model and direct employees to ensure customer service standards are met, delivering an exceptional cooking class experience at every class.
  • Culinary Leadership: Contribute to an environment where employees are informed and capable by supporting and/or delivering training for all employees, maintaining proper storage, prep, and service procedures, and ensuring all equipment and workspaces are sanitary.
  • Business Development: Seek opportunities to increase cooking class and retail sales, directing culinary employees to execute sales plans and staying informed by maintaining product knowledge.
  • Employee Development: Provide coaching in the moment and performance feedback to culinary employees, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee information, and partnering with other departments as needed.
  • Communication: Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills with employees, customers, field management, and corporate office, ensuring adherence to applicable wage and hour laws.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of progressively responsible kitchen operations or kitchen management experience, with a culinary degree or equivalent Sous Chef experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Certifications: Valid Food Handlers/Food Managers Certification and familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to drive sales, motivate teams, and demonstrate successful teaching and training experience.
